Waste management is always a tricky area. Most people, including clerks, don’t ever think that how they dispose of waste at the store would be different (legally at least) from how they do it at home. I can imagine a lot of materials being thrown out because no one understands the hazwaste regs (which are clearly odd when a solid waste is any solid, liquid or compressed gas….) But all in all they aren’t doing too bad on influencing for the better
